The National Creative Grant Program for Theater
Program
The National Creative Grant Program for Theater aims at enabling and empowering the theater sector in the UAE. The program is part of a border initiative by the ministry to support the cultural and creative sector in the UAE by offering financial grants to create, produce, showcase, export talent, support upskilling among many others. The initiative also aims at offering nonfinancial support through offering spaces for activations, marketing and media coverage. The program is an open call project-based funding to support NGO’s, theater bands and individual in the theater sector.
Objective
- To empower the not-for-profit organizations, theater bands and creatives in the UAE.
- To maximize public engagement with, and access to, high quality theater content across the nation.
- To position the UAE as a leading country in theater talents and productions.
- To celebrate the nation’s creativity and exceptional body of work.
How to apply
NCGP accepts applications on a rolling basis – our window is always open with deadlines July 2022. Please carefully review the guidance before deciding whether to invest time in preparing an application. Doing so will increase your chances of success.
