‘The Summer Camp’ is an important annual event organised by the Ministry of Culture. This year, the camp will run throughout the month of July, starting from July 1st until the end of the month, featuring a diverse set of programmes, including workshops, discussions, cultural and artistic performances, training courses, and guided tours. These activities will be conducted in partnership with top institutions and organisations, as well as experts and specialists from different fields.

The Summer Camp is aligned with the UAE’s national goals for investing in the country's youth. Its participants will have an opportunity to learn new skills and broaden their horizons, keeping up with the latest knowledge trends. The camp also aims to reinforce the participants’ national identity based on Emirati culture and works towards strengthening their contribution to shaping the future of the UAE.

Showcasing the Ministry of Culture’s commitment to providing a stimulating and supportive environment for individuals of all ages, from 6-year-olds to senior citizens over the age of 60, the 2024 edition of the Summer Camp will focus on three main tracks:

• Skill development of participants, aiming to equip talented individuals with advanced skills aligned with the UAE's centennial plan.
• Raising community awareness about the fundamentals of different sectors, national priorities, and educating communities about future trends.
• Instilling Emirati values in community members, introducing them to the core components of the Emirati identity and culture.
