Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, spoke on Thursday of the long friendship and mutual understanding at the heart of the UK/UAE 2017 Year of Creative Collaboration.
HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development assured that the Ministry, by launching more than 150 different initiatives, aims to reach all segments of society during March (the month of reading).
The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development will participate in the 27nth session of the Abu Dhabi Book Fair starting tomorrow. The Ministry’s pavilion in the book fair will include more than 200 book titles from its releases.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, affirmed that the UAE’s pioneering role in promoting creativity and its continuous support for Islamic art, in addition to organizing such forums and constant hosting for events and initiatives aimed at serving Islam and the Holy Quran.

The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Insurance Authority, launched the campaign “Cinema” across all its cultural centers over the course of one week, as part of the Cultural Summer Programme.
According to customer satisfaction surveys filled by parents and students participating in the summer programme, the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development announced that the satisfaction rate with the events and workshops of the programme amounted to 96.1%.
Stemming from the role of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development in the discovery of talented artists and the activation of the role of its cultural and knowledge centers in supporting people with determination, the Cultural Center in Abu Dhabi organized a workshop.
