The Future of Culture” is organized as part of “Pioneer Series”

The Pioneers Series, organized by the Dubai Future Academy throughout the holy month of Ramadan, held a session on 19 May entitled “The Future of Culture”, presented by HE Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development. The session was attended by HE Omar Sultan Al Ulama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Deputy Managing Director of Dubai Foundation for the Future, HE Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, and a number of officials from government and private institutions and departments.

Al Kaabi spoke about the future of culture and the role of various technologies in promoting cultures and arts and facilitating increased public access to these sectors. She said: “Technology provides new opportunities in the field of knowledge, culture and creativity and opens up opportunities for artists to increase their cultural production. It also increases community access to these works, which is necessary for preserving world cultural heritage, by increasing awareness of the importance of world archaeological sites.”

The session was followed by an interactive discussion on a number of topics, such as the impact of advanced technologies on the formation and production of creative projects. Al Kaabi also took questions from the audience and listened to their views on technological developments in the fields of culture and knowledge development.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the “Pioneer Series” organized by the Dubai Academy of the Future, will host a group of distinguished speakers. These include ministers, officials and specialists in various fields, to share knowledge and promote community awareness, through the Future Council, which reviews various aspects of the future. This reflects Dubai Future Academy’s vision to be the first knowledge hub for tomorrow’s decision makers and to provide future leaders with the necessary skills to keep abreast of rapid developments.
