In collaboration with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council “Nafis” The Ministry of Culture organises Creative Careers Program featuring the participation of 66 federal and local entities

The Ministry of Culture held the first meeting of the Creative Careers Program today in collaboration with the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council “Nafis” at the Ajman Cultural Center – Al Jurf. The meeting is considered a first step towards achieving the objectives of the Creative Careers Program, which aims to upskill Emiratis in the creative, cultural, and artistic fields. The program aims to contribute to developing a highly skilled workforce that meets the needs of the private sector.
This event, attended by His Excellency Major General Shaikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, and His Excellency Mubarak Al Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, who were briefed on the event that brings together approximately 66 federal and local entities, including 20 private companies, 5 free zones, recruitment firms, and 22 universities and colleges. It aligns with the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership to invest in young national talents and promote a diversified, knowledge-based economy. The event offers job seekers a wide range of opportunities to enter the labor market within the cultural and creative industries, providing access to over 800 job opportunities in the arts and culture sector.
His Excellency Mubarak Al Nakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, said: “The Ministry is committed to translating the leadership’s vision of investing in young talents of both genders, empowering them, and harnessing their skills within the cultural and creative industries. This sector is a vital contributor to the national economy, offering diverse opportunities that align with the aspirations of youth and their desire to work in the private sector, particularly in culture and the arts. By fostering this talent, the Ministry not only supports the dreams of the nation’s youth but also strengthens the cultural and economic landscape of the nation.”
He continued: “The Creative Careers Program offers a platform for young national talents to play a key role in the rapidly growing cultural and creative sector, both locally and regionally and globally. Recognizing this sector as a major driver of economic and developmental progress, the UAE greatly emphasizes its growth, aiming to leverage it as a form of soft power. In line with this vision, we are collaborating with various private sector partners to attract talented Emiratis, empowering them to innovate and make meaningful contributions to the labor market. This initiative supports the UAE’s ambition to strengthen its position as a leading global cultural hub.”
