Daily Reading Challenge

During Reading Month, teacher Hanan Qeizi presented a fun challenge to the second kindergarten students to read twenty diverse words, including long and short sounds of the letters they had previously learned. This exercise was implemented through interactive activities that combined learning through play and group collaboration, along with exercises that enhance reading and comprehension skills, making learning an enjoyable and continuous experience. The students were honored by the school principal, Mrs. Samira Al Awadhi, who presented them with certificates of appreciation to encourage their efforts and perseverance in improving their reading skills. They showed great enthusiasm and remarkable interaction during these activities. This challenge contributed to raising the students’ confidence levels and enhanced their ability to distinguish between different letter sounds, which positively reflected on their reading and comprehension performance.
