Discover Your World with a Book

As part of Reading Month, Mr. Diaa Shannan launched an activity under the slogan “Discover Your World with a Book,” where the teacher encouraged students to explore new worlds through reading various books. Each student was asked to choose a book that matched their personal interests, whether it was a novel, a scientific book, or a book on a specific topic that piqued their curiosity. The teacher ensured that the books were diverse so that each student could discover a new field that reflected their inclinations. This activity aimed to deepen students’ love for reading, develop their critical thinking skills, and enhance their ability to express their opinions and ideas. During this activity, students had the opportunity to share their thoughts about the books they read through interactive discussion sessions. Each student expressed their opinion on the book, what new things they learned from it, and how it helped them understand the world around them more deeply. These sessions stimulated dialogue and the exchange of viewpoints, which boosted students’ self-confidence and encouraged them to delve into content analysis.
