The Holy Quran competition

**”Azzab Al-Tilawah Competition”**

It is with great pleasure that APT International Testing Company announces the launch of the “Azzab Al-Tilawah” competition, aimed at selecting the most melodious voices in the recitation of the Holy Quran. This competition celebrates the words of Allah, may He be exalted, and encourages our students to focus on perfecting the recitation of the Quran with attention to its rules.

The Quran is the light of hearts and guidance for souls, and reciting it with reflection and mastery is a great honor for every believer. Driven by APT’s commitment to promoting Islamic values in the hearts of our children, this competition offers a golden opportunity during the blessed month of Ramadan to discover outstanding vocal talents in Quran recitation and motivate students to enhance their performance.

**📅 Competition Dates**
The competition will run from March 6, 2025, to March 20, 2025. The awards ceremony will take place at the APT Annual Conference, attended by educational leaders and prominent figures, on May 10, 2025.

**👥 Categories for Arab and Non-Arabic Speakers**
– **Category 1**: Grades 1 to 3. (The student must record two clips from two different Surahs of their choice, with each clip being at least one minute long.)
– **Category 2**: Grades 4 to 6. (The student must record two clips from two different Surahs of their choice, with each clip being at least two minutes long.)
– **Category 3**: Grades 7 to 9. (The student must record two clips from two different Surahs of their choice, with each clip being at least three minutes long.)
– **Category 4**: Grades 10 to 12. (The student must record two clips from two different Surahs of their choice, with each clip being at least three and a half minutes long.)

**📌 How to Participate**
Nominations will be made through schools, with each school nominating one student per category for both Arab and non-Arabic speakers. The clips must be recorded in video format and uploaded to the link provided, which will be sent to the registered schools. The final registration deadline is February 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Participants will be evaluated by a specialized panel of judges on Tajweed rules and sound quality.

**🎁 Recognition and Prizes**
Winners will be honored at the APT Annual Conference on May 10, in the presence of prominent educational figures. Prizes will include Excellence Shields for the winners.
