The Ministry of Culture organizes the ‘Youth Circles’ to mark UNESCO’s International Day of Islamic Art and nurture future leaders in the Islamic creative industries. Visit the Youth Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai where H.E. Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth for the UAE, and H.E. Shamma Al Mazrui, UAE Minister of State for Youth share insights on the challenges and opportunities in the field of Islamic art and design.

Noura Al Kaabi welcomed H.E. Kwon Youngwoo, Korean Ambassador to the UAE, and praised his efforts in developing cooperation relations between the UAE and South Korea and discussed ways to develop them in the cultural fields.

The Ministry of Culture signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (sheraa) on the sidelines of the World Conference on Creative Economy (WCCE), aiming to collaborate and share experiences and knowledge and participate in the launch of joint initiatives in Sharjah. The MoU also help the two parties adopt open, transparent and participatory approach to promoting entrepreneurship in the UAE and the Arab region in general.

Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth, and H.E. Jose Herrera, Malta’s Minister for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), with the aim of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the cultural fields, especially in the field of antiquities, heritage, arts and libraries. The two countries will also foster creative dialogue.

Her Excellency Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth, delivered a speech at the Arab League celebration of the International Day of the Arabic Language. The day is being marked this year under the theme Arabic Language, a bridge between civilizations at Expo 2020 Dubai. Her Excellency stressed the importance of the role played by the UAE’s visionary leadership in supporting the Arabic language with dozens of initiatives to encourage its spread, preserve its authenticity and promote it as a language of thought and knowledge, locally as well as globally.
