Cultural Centers Conclude Its Activities As Part Of The 45the National Day Celebrations

Cultural centers affiliated to the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development conclude its activities as part of the 45the National Day celebrations yesterday which exceeded 194 different events including International folklore performances for more than 25 Arab and foreign countries, the Walkathon of the Nations, shows by Emirati Folk art bands in addition to the theatrical plays, operettas, cultural and diverse competitions and children activities and events giving them the opportunity to express their abilities and their talents through competitions. Activities of cultural centers received great support and cooperation from all local and federal authorities, turning into public squares expressing the joy of National day over the course of six days. HE Afra Al Sabri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, that the ministry ensured the delivery of the national day programs and activities to all parts of the Emirates through its 9cultural centers. Al Sabri hailed efforts of all institutions and agencies and bodies that have supported and participated in the activities of the cultural centers, stressing that this cooperation had a significant impact on the success of all events, praising the audience who were keen to interact with the various programs provided by the centers reflecting a wonderful picture of community cohesion in this national occasion dear to us all. Al Sabri stressed that the directives of HE Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development have had a profound impact in transforming cultural centers to cultural beacons through its support with a number of events aimed at promoting loyalty and belonging to the homeland and its wise leadership. Dibba Al Fujairah cultural center concluded the events of the village “Happiness of a Nation”. The Village included several activities, including traditional cooking, children activities with several corners including “The Productive Emirati” , corners of reading, creativity, innovation and drawing. Umm Al Quwain cultural center organized international folklore and heritage competitions . Whereas events by the Western region Cultural center attracted foreign and Arab audience with cultural and heritage folklore shows in addition to a decorated bus with the colors of the flag to distribute National day gifts and flags. The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development Cultural Center in Masafi organized over the course of six day a series of events which included 16 folklore and fashion shows in addition to school students operetta and children’s activities. The Cultural Center in Ras Al Khaimah organised a range of distinctive events highlighted by the International Folklore shows and an operetta by school students in Ras Al Khaimah. The Cultural center of Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development in Delma organised the Heritage Village, Al Senaa workshops, traditional food station and cultural and heritage competitions.
