Cultural Centers Gear Up For Closing Ceremonies

Preparations and rehearsals for the closing ceremonies of the Cultural Summer programme on the 10nth of August are all set, announced the higher committee organizing the programme. In the ceremony, which will be attended by senior officials from local, government and federal departments, creative talents will be honored and their works will be displayed. “The Higher Committee was briefed on the program of events set by all the cultural centers for the ceremony, which will include an art exhibition displaying creative works by students, accomplished during the course of the program and theatrical and artistic performances by students. “, commented Ahmed Al Surei, Director of the Cultural Centers Department. “Talented students in the fields of theater, music, visual arts and literature will also be recognized in the ceremony. Distinguished cultural centers will also be honored, in addition to sponsors and bodies supporting the program, in line with the program’s effort to attract the largest number of governmental institutions, departments and ministries to work together to serve students and contribute to the investment and development of their talents.”, added Al Surei. “The first season of cultural summer this year was characterized by diversity, as it combined the promotion of national values such as the national identity, volunteerism, community service and national service, in addition to creativity, productivity and also equipped participants with skills and knowledge that would develop their talents and be beneficial in their lives in general.”, he explained. “Next season’s preparations will begin early to insure the availability of all the success factors and to meet the wishes of all students participating in the events.”, noted Al Suraei.
