The Ministry of Culture has won two accolades at the 2024 Stevie Awards, one of the most prestigious awards recognising creativity, institutional excellence, human resources, and business worldwide. The Ministry outperformed over 3,600 government and private entities from 62 countries across the globe.

These distinguished awards honour some of the most exceptional institutions internationally. The Ministry received a bronze award in the Organisation of the Year for Medium-Sized Government Entities and the Best Human Resources Management categories. These accolades celebrate the Ministry’s success in enhancing workflows, streamlining operations, and achieving outstanding outcomes in 2023, all within the framework of government enablers and strategic objectives.

Her Excellency Aisha Al Zaabi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services at the Ministry of Culture, commented: “The Ministry’s strategies and plans align with the UAE leadership’s vision to achieve excellence and uphold the nation’s leading position in government performance. Winning these awards underscores the Ministry’s commitment to innovation and adopting best governance practices. This dedication is evident in the Ministry’s internal environment, which fosters a culture of creativity and prioritises the development of human resources and competencies.”

She further emphasised that these accolades support the UAE’s journey towards excellence across various fields. The Ministry’s achievements in securing top positions highlight its unwavering commitment to progress and innovation. This recognition serves as a catalyst for skill enhancement, performance improvement, and the achievement of new milestones, paving the way for further international accolades.

Her Excellency congratulated all Ministry employees for their dedication and significant contributions in earning this recognition. She encouraged them to sustain this momentum, achieve higher performance levels, and continue towards excellence and success.

Notably, the Ministry received the silver award in the Sustainability Initiatives category last year, coinciding with the UAE’s declaration of 2023 as the Year of Sustainability. This recognition reflected the Ministry’s efforts in advancing sustainability and reaffirmed its vision for achieving global leadership and excellence in diverse fields.

Launched in 2002, the Stevie Awards are the world’s premier business awards, honouring and recognising the achievements and positive contributions of organisations and professionals worldwide. They are widely regarded as one of the most coveted awards globally.
