Under the patronage of Al Qasimi University in the Emirate of Sharjah, the College of Arts and Humanities announced its annual competition , which coincides with the Month of Reading (March) each year under the slogan, “The Emirates Reads.” Students of Al Qasimi University in the Emirate of Sharjah participate in this competition, which aims to foster promising poetic talents among the university’s youth. The competition ‘s topic revolves around writing on any social or humanitarian theme in eloquent language. The participating works are submitted to a specialized committee for evaluation , and the university allocates generous financial prizes for the winners of the top three places, while awarding certificates of appreciation to those placing fourth to tenth.
