Arabic Poetry Recitation

Objectives of the Competition:
• Deepening students’ relationship with the Arabic language.
• Activating student involvement and encouraging cultural abilities.
• Developing students’ recitation skills.

Competition Conditions:
• The allowed number of verses is between 5 and 7, which the student must memorize.
• The required poems include patriotic poems that express love for the UAE, praise for Emirati figures, and Arabic poems centered on themes of praise, pride, or description.
• Provide the judging committee with a paper containing the selected verses.
• Eligible grades for participation are from grade 1 to grade 5, and from grade 6 to grade 12.

Evaluation Criteria:
• Good memorization
• Quality of pronunciation
• Strong performance
• Correct word usage
• Representing the meaning interactively
