Arabian Tales Initiative
The Arabian Tales Initiative is a weekly school activity that invites a student’s parent to participate in an interactive storytelling session. The parent selects a meaningful story with a strong moral message and reads it to the children in an engaging and stimulating environment. Following the storytelling, a discussion takes place during which students are encouraged to reflect on the story and answer thought-provoking questions.
The session then transitions into an application phase, where students creatively engage with the story through activities such as drawing and coloring key events or selecting and distributing illustrated stories for reading and character exploration.
Objectives:
Strengthening community partnerships between parents and the school.
Promoting Arabic culture through innovative and engaging storytelling.
Target group: Kindergarten students.
