Book Bingo

Book Bingo is a school initiative designed to encourage KS2 pupils to read widely and for pleasure, fostering a love of reading across various genres. Students receive a “Bingo” card with different reading challenges, such as reading a book by a new author, exploring a non-fiction text, or reading a book set in another country. After completing each challenge, students reflect on their reading through enjoyable activities, such as book reviews, discussions, or creative projects. This initiative not only promotes literacy but also helps students develop a deeper appreciation for diverse stories and perspectives.
