In celebration of Reading Month, the Arabic Language Department organized the “I Can Read” activity on March 10 and 11, which saw enthusiastic participation from students in both the first and second cycles.
📖 Activity Goal:
This activity aimed to encourage students to read fluently, boost their confidence, and develop comprehension and listening skills, especially for non-native Arabic speakers. It provided a fun and interactive way to enhance their love for the Arabic language.
💡 Activity Details:
The event began with teachers reading engaging stories to the students. Then, students took turns reading stories to their peers, helping them improve their public reading skills and self-confidence.
🔍 Enhancing Understanding & Interaction:
After the readings, an interactive Q&A session was held, where students discussed the stories read by their peers. This helped assess their comprehension and encouraged effective communication in Arabic.
