The Asian International Private School organized an educational visit to Al Mirfa Library as part of the National Reading Month activities. The visit aimed to foster a love for reading and develop students’ research and exploration skills.

During the visit, students toured different sections of the library, where they explored a variety of books and resources, ranging from picture books and children’s literature to scientific and literary references. They also attended a reading session conducted by one of the library supervisors, who emphasized the importance of reading in building knowledge and stimulating imagination.

Additionally, students participated in interactive activities, such as the Speed Reading Challenge and Character Analysis, which enhanced their engagement with books in a fun and innovative way.

The students expressed their joy at this experience, stating their eagerness to visit the library again and benefit from its services. The school administration, in turn, emphasized the importance of such events in instilling the habit of reading as an essential part of students’ lives and education.

This visit aligns with the school’s efforts to support the UAE Reads initiative and encourage students to utilize public libraries as a valuable source of knowledge and lifelong learning.

Note: The event took place on February 6, 2025, as our school’s academic calendar schedules the final exams in March. However, it was officially recorded in the system on March 24, 2025.
