On the Book’s Wings Initiative

In Support of the Nation’s Efforts to Promote a Reading Culture

In line with the country’s efforts to spread and enhance the culture of reading, the “On the Wings of a Book” reading initiative has been officially launched today as part of the Reading Month activities for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Implementation Mechanism:
Participants (students, parents of students, or national curriculum teachers) are required to record a short video of no more than one minute, in which they share:
A lesson or moral they learned from a book.
How they have applied this lesson in their daily and professional lives.
A piece of advice they would like to offer their peers based on their reading experience.

Target Audience:
Students of Emirates National Schools
Parents of students at Emirates National Schools
Teachers of the national curriculum
