Whistle Blowing Protection Policy
Guided by the Anti-Fraud Guide in the Federal Government, approved by Cabinet Resolution No. (4/11) of 2018, to enhance the regulatory environment in the Ministry of Culture.
The MCY seeks to establish business practice with the highest standards of business conduct and ethics, as well as its desire to promote an environment of openness and transparent communication. Therefore, the Ministry has implemented a whistleblowing policy to enable whistleblowers to disclose any information about suspicious wrongdoing and/or illegal act through a confidential and safe channel.
What Can Be Reported ?
- Fraud & Theft.
- Bribery & Extortion.
- Non-compliance with Laws and Policies.
- Attempts to hide any Violations.
- Corruption.
- Conflict of Interest.
- Discrimination.
- Harassment and Bullying.
- Misuse of Ministry Property.
- Power Abuse or Decisions Against the Interest of the Ministry.
- Any Risks to Health, Safety and Environment.
- Any other significant matters
Whistleblower Protection
MCY is committed to the protection of its whistleblowers from the following:
- Protection against discrimination
- Revenge, Harassment or Persecution by other employees.
- Bias in the present or future.
- Loss of opportunity for promotion.
- Dismissal.
- Termination of contracts.
Confidentiality
- All data and information provided by the whistleblower will be kept confidential to the maximum extent possible consistent with the investigation neither MCY nor any of its employees have the right to disclose such information or use it for any purpose other than the intended purposes.
