We would like to remind you of the qualifying dates for the ninth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge, which aims to instill a love of reading in our children and develop their linguistic and cognitive skills. 100 Book Challenge

The main objective is to encourage and cultivate a habit of reading and promote competence among sections. By challenging students to read as many books as possible this month, we aim to instill a lifelong love for reading and ignite a competitive spirit among sections.

Join our Creative Writing Competition this March as part of Reading Month! This competition is designed to foster students’ writing skills while allowing them to reflect on their favorite books. Participants can choose any topic to express their creativity and showcase their storytelling abilities. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire a love for writing and literature, encouraging students to explore their imaginations and enhance their expressive skills.

DEAR Time

DEAR Time (Drop Everything and Read) is a school-wide initiative at Creative British School launched by Mr. Timothy, an English teacher , in coordination with the library to foster a love for reading and improve literacy skills. Every day , students in both Primary and Secondary dedicate 20 minutes to quiet reading. Teachers participate by reading alongside students and guiding discussions on the importance of books. This program encourages independent reading habits, promotes book access, and strengthens a culture of lifelong learning-because at CBS, we believe that “Readers are Leaders!”
